Social media is once again buzzing with a viral video — this time from a crowded Indian train. The clip, which appears to be from a general coach, shows a transgender person aggressively demanding money from a passenger. The moment, caught on camera, has left viewers stunned and divided.

What Happened in the Viral Video?

In the viral video, the transgender individual can be heard saying, “Pay online, 51 rupees. Do it fast, send it now!” The passenger filming the video asks whether she is extorting money, to which she boldly replies, “Yes, we do collect money.”

When questioned about her harsh tone, she defends herself by saying, “That’s just how we speak.” The man then turns to other passengers and asks if she’s using abusive language, and several passengers respond with a “yes.”

Public Reactions on Social Media

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Mahtab_Siddiqu1, with the caption: “Loot happening openly in trains.”
So far, the clip has been viewed over 100,000 times, drawing mixed reactions from users.

One user commented, “Who gives money like that, brother?”
Another joked, “They even take money after touching your cheek!”
A third added, “What is the railway department even doing? There’s no space to stand, and still, extortion goes on!”

The Bigger Question: Passenger Safety

While such encounters are not uncommon in Indian trains, the video reignites the discussion around safety, harassment, and the lack of proper monitoring in general compartments. Many social media users are urging railway authorities to take action against such incidents.
