Sensing the child’s fear, Abhira gently encouraged her to come out. Her tender approach slowly melted Maira’s hesitation, earning the child’s trust.
Their interaction turned playful as Kaveri joined in. A light-hearted banter followed, filling the room with laughter, if only for a moment. The temporary calm hinted at the bond Abhira and Maira could share. Soon after, Abhira carefully asked for the phone numbers of Maira’s parents. Maira, however, hesitated. Fear flickered in her eyes, worried that Armaan might arrive and whisk her back to Mount Abu.
But then, remembering Armaan’s phone was switched off, Maira hesitated less and finally handed over the number. Abhira immediately dialed but met with disappointment as the number remained unreachable.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, a restless Armaan arrived at the police station accompanied by Geetanjali. Panic showed on his face as he filed a missing complaint for Maira. The slow, indifferent response from the officer on duty only added fuel to Armaan’s frustration. Unable to contain his emotions, he lost his temper at the officer, demanding urgency in the search.
Back at the event venue, Abhira made a quick call to the organisers. She informed them that Maira was safe and staying with her. Relieved, the organisers promised to update Armaan. Soon, they reached out to him with the good news that Maira had been found and was in safe hands.
Not wasting a moment, Abhira brought Maira home. The little girl, feeling at ease, wasted no time in causing a bit of delightful chaos around the house. She playfully toppled objects and turned the place into her playground. Instead of annoyance, Abhira found joy in the child’s antics.
As night fell, Abhira lovingly prepared a simple meal, khichdi hoping it would comfort Maira. But when served, Maira made her feelings clear. Bluntly, she admitted she preferred the version made by Geetanjali. Her words revealed her deep attachment to the people she had left behind.
In a separate conversation, Anshuman shared his worries about Krish’s behaviour with Tanya. Defending Krish, Tanya said he’d always been respectful towards her. However, she also acknowledged that his issues with Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira remained unresolved.
Elsewhere, Armaan wasn’t one to sit still. With the organisers’ provided number still unreachable, he managed to secure an address through a friend. What he didn’t know was that the address belonged to Abhira.
