The local fair turned into an unforgettable night in the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The evening began on a cheerful note as Krish and Tanya stepped into the bustling fairground, soaking in the lights, colors, and music. As they wandered through the stalls, Tanya’s attention was drawn to a striking saree displayed at Abhira’s stall. Her eyes sparkled with admiration, and she couldn’t resist expressing how much she liked it.
Krish, however, seemed restless and on edge. The lively atmosphere did little to calm his rising irritation. He abruptly instructed Manisha and Kaajal to stop getting distracted and focus on managing the stall. Tanya, sensing his mood, quietly tried to calm him, but Krish’s growing arrogance was hard to miss.
Moved by Tanya’s fondness for the saree, Kaveri stepped forward with warmth in her voice and insisted on gifting it to her. What should have been a sweet gesture took an ugly turn when Krish, blinded by pride, shoved money into Kaveri’s hand. In a mocking tone, he insulted their financial situation by calling them poor. The crowd around them fell silent, the insult hanging heavy in the air.
Anshuman, witnessing the entire scene, immediately intervened. Unable to tolerate Krish’s disrespect, he firmly scolded him for his behavior.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the fair, excitement was building around a talent competition. Maira stood among the eager contestants, hoping for good news. The host, however, initially declared that she hadn’t made it to the final round. Maira’s face fell, crushed by disappointment. Armaan and Geetanjali tried to comfort her, offering kind words to lift her spirits.
Just when it seemed like her hopes were dashed, the host returned with a correction. He announced that Maira’s name had been mistakenly skipped and she was indeed a finalist. The mix-up brought momentary joy.
Elsewhere, Abhira found a brief moment of peace. She approached Anshuman, thanking him sincerely for defending Kaveri. In a lighter mood, she later wandered through the fair carrying balloons. Armaan noticed her, watching quietly with a tangle of emotions on his face. Despite his gaze softening, old frustrations returned when he turned to Geetanjali. He lost control of his temper and blamed her harshly for bringing Maira to the event. Their exchange quickly turned into a heated argument, leaving Maira heartbroken.
Feeling unwanted and hurt, Maira quietly slipped away from the venue. She climbed into an auto without informing anyone. What began as an escape took a dark turn when the driver, harboring bad intentions, stopped midway and summoned a group of men. Terrified, Maira realized the danger and bolted from the spot, running aimlessly in fear.
Back at the fair, panic erupted when Geetanjali discovered Maira was missing. The blame game began immediately. Geetanjali accused Armaan of driving Maira away with his reckless anger. Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya were returning from the fair when something unusual caught Abhira’s attention. Scattered boxes lay along the roadside, and in the eerie silence, a faint cry reached her ears.
Drawn by the sound, Abhira followed it cautiously. What she found left her shaken. Maira, hiding among the boxes, was sobbing and visibly terrified.
The night that began with festivities had turned into one of danger, drama, and unexpected rescues.
