The bank staff informed her that no such transaction had been recorded. Worse, the man they interacted with wasn’t a bank employee at all. He was a conman posing as one. The horrifying realization that they had been duped hit them hard, leaving them speechless and anxious.

But when they got back home Armaan questioned Maira why she called Geetanjali her mother. Maira in return questioned her who is her mother and Armaan imagined Abhira arguing with her, loosing control over himself she let out a scream which startled Maira.
As Abhira raced to uncover the truth and the family reeled from betrayal, another corner of the world found solace in a plate of pani puri and heartfelt laughter.
