Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to hold its place as one of television’s most-loved dramas. The Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer has entered a fresh chapter with a seven-year leap, bringing along new stories, heartbreak, and shocking twists.
Before the leap, Armaan’s character saw a significant shift. Once calm and understanding, he turned bitter and cold. His overprotective nature toward his newborn daughter led him to hurt Abhira, whom he accused of being an irresponsible mother. During the Nahavan ceremony, tragedy struck when the baby, along with Vidya, went missing. Some goons attempted to kidnap the child, but Abhira fought courageously. In a desperate move to protect the baby, she placed her inside a box to hide from the attackers. Unfortunately, a truck unknowingly took the box away.
