According to a Bombay Times report, the makers are in talks with Shilpa Shinde to bring her back as Angoori Bhabhi in a revamped version titled Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0. Sources revealed that discussions are ongoing and both sides are keen to finalize the deal soon.
“Yes, talks with Shilpa Shinde are happening, and everyone hopes the deal gets locked soon,” said a source. “The show is completing 10 years, and the makers want to add a new twist to attract the audience again.”
A New Beginning: Shooting to Start This December
Insiders shared that the production team is preparing a brand-new set and storyline for Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0. The shoot is expected to begin by mid-December 2025, promising major changes in both story and characters.
Shilpa’s Journey Beyond the Show
After quitting Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, Shilpa stayed away from fiction shows but made her mark in reality TV. She won Bigg Boss 11 and also appeared in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. In 2023, she made a cameo in Madam Sir.
