His charm on screen and versatility as a performer have made him a favorite among audiences.

Recently, Romit reflected on some of the most difficult chapters of his acting career. He recalled how one of the biggest hurdles he faced was managing two lead roles simultaneously. Both shows, Betiyan and Maayka, aired on Zee TV and were produced by the same production house. Romit mentioned how one character was negative while the other was positive, demanding him to switch between completely opposite emotions daily. It wasn’t easy, and he admitted it took immense strength to pull it off.

The actor revealed that for three long years, he maintained an intense schedule of 16 to 18 hours a day. Balancing two contrasting roles on a daily basis wasn’t just physically tiring but mentally draining too. Romit admitted, “It was creatively exhausting but also deeply fulfilling.”

Romit spoke about the kind of focus and mental toughness this phase demanded. “To play two contrasting characters every day required mental discipline, sharp focus, and genuine love for the craft,” he confessed.

His love for acting remains as strong as ever. Romit expressed that being in front of the camera gives him a sense of purpose and belonging. He openly admitted that no matter how tough the journey gets, quitting has never crossed his mind. “I love acting and I am very passionate about it. I don’t think of giving up at all. Facing the camera was the best decision of my life,” he declared.

When asked about how he spends time away from the limelight, Romit spoke about investing in personal growth. He shared that when not working on any show, he takes up acting workshops to polish his skills. Fitness is a priority, and he makes it a point to work out regularly. Meditation and chanting also form a vital part of his routine, helping him stay centered and balanced in an unpredictable profession.

Romit discussed what fuels his spirit through the inevitable ups and downs of showbiz. He believes that the desire to entertain and the hunger for new roles keep him motivated. “The fire in the belly keeps me motivated. There’s a lot to entertain. When roles don’t come my way, I don’t give up—I work harder for the next audition,” he shared, showing his unwavering spirit.

On a more personal note, Romit credits his spiritual beliefs for keeping him grounded. He lives by a simple but powerful philosophy. “Mann ka ho toh achha, nahi ho toh aur bhi achha,” he reflected.
