Reem Shaikh, a familiar face in the television, currently, she’s part of Laughter Chefs Season 2, a reality show that brings together well-known celebrities for a fun-filled cooking competition. Recently, Reem appeared on the Bharti TV podcast, hosted by Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, where she shared candid moments about her co-stars and the reality TV space she once followed closely.
During the conversation, the topic naturally drifted towards Bigg Boss, a show that has long been a favorite in Indian households. Reem admitted that though she was once a regular viewer, her interest in the show had faded over the past few seasons. She said she used to enjoy watching it but hasn’t found it engaging in the last two to three years. Her honest confession brought a playful reaction from Bharti, who reminded her that many of the faces from those very seasons of Bigg Boss are now on Laughter Chefs, working alongside them.
Reacting quickly, Reem joked, “No Abhishek was hurt,” sending everyone into a burst of laughter. It was a light-hearted moment that showed the friendly teasing and camaraderie the contestants share off-camera.
As the conversation continued, Bharti and Haarsh brought up an amusing observation about Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel, two of the other contestants on the show. Bharti mentioned how most men hesitate to openly express compliments to women, but these two do so effortlessly. She described how Abhishek, in particular, never shies away from telling the female contestants they look good or praising them for random things.
Reem agreed instantly, revealing that Abhishek often compliments her directly. Sharing a humorous instance, she said, “Aur itna besharam hai, abhi mujhe muh pe bol raha hoga, baad mein Nia ko same cheez jaake bolega.” Her remark highlighted Abhishek’s playful nature.
Haarsh joked that it might be a good idea for Abhishek to focus on one person at a time and leave a decent gap before flattering the next. He further lightened the mood by calling both Abhishek and Samarth “very cute,” acknowledging their cheeky but endearing behavior.
In the midst of these fun exchanges, Reem shared that she once asked Abhishek if he ever felt awkward about distributing compliments so generously.
Away from the kitchen antics and friendly banter, Reem has also been making waves in her personal life. She recently made a big purchase, adding a luxurious BMW to her collection. The sleek vehicle, reportedly worth over ₹60 lakh, marked a special milestone for the actress.
Professionally, Reem has built an impressive portfolio over the years. Known for her performances in popular shows like Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal and Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawaan, she has consistently been part of projects that showcase her versatility and screen presence. Despite having started young, Reem continues to evolve as an artist, taking on roles that challenge and excite her.
