The countdown has officially begun. The Great Indian Kapil Show. The long-awaited comedy series, which never fails to bring laughter and light-hearted banter, is all set to stream on Netflix from June 21, 2025, at 8 PM. Fans are eagerly waiting for its opening episode, especially since Bollywood’s biggest star, Salman Khan, will be the first guest to grace the stage.
Ahead of its release, the makers have been dropping hilarious promos, and each glimpse has only intensified the anticipation. A cheeky conversation between Krushna Abhishek and Salman Khan left the entire audience in splits.
In the freshly released promo, Krushna steps onto the stage dressed as a woman, fully in character. His comic timing hits just the right notes as he immediately targets Salman with his signature teasing style. Kapil Sharma, playing host as always, takes the first jab. Pointing at Krushna, he jokes, “Behen Ji, unka koi mood nahi hai shaadi ka. Aap jaao.”
But Krushna wasn’t going to let it pass. He turns to Kapil with mock indignation and says, “Kya baat kar rha hai. Bohot mood hai. Are mai jaanti hu, Tiger abhi zinda hai.”
Without missing a beat, Salman responds with perfect comic timing, “Hai toh sahi lekin aapke liye nahi.” That one-liner sets the room on fire. Everyone from Archana Puran Singh to Navjot Singh Sidhu breaks into hearty laughter.
The banter doesn’t end there. Krushna, staying firmly in character, takes a direct dig at Salman’s bachelorhood, “Kab tak Shera ke saath apni zindagi bitagoe? Zindagi mai ek sherni bhi toh honi chahiye ki nahi.” The audience roared, while Salman nodded in mock agreement.
Krushna then playfully declared that if he were to marry Salman, he’d ensure all of Salman’s mischievous friends stayed away from their house. The remark left even Kapil chuckling, while Archana couldn’t stop clapping. Krushna argued that every man needs a tigress at home and cheekily sought Navjot Singh Sidhu’s approval. Sidhu, never one to miss a chance for a witty remark, sided with Krushna.
The promo also gave glimpses of other moments, with Sunil Grover making his presence felt, Kiku Sharda joining in with his antics, and Kapil Sharma pulling off his classic punches. Navjot Singh Sidhu’s return to the show after a long hiatus added an extra layer of nostalgia for long-time fans.
This upcoming season promises a blend of old-school comedy with modern twists, retaining the original charm that made The Great Indian Kapil Show a household favorite.
