Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin’s story began far from home, on the adventurous sets of Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2018. Both were contestants in Rohit Shetty’s reality show, shooting in the breathtaking landscapes of Argentina. Their friendship blossomed quickly as they spent long days together braving stunts and sharing light moments off-camera.

Despite the initial shock, Jasmin emphasized that religion was never a problem between their families. She described her parents as educated and open-minded people who always believed in values over labels. The only advice they gave her was simple yet heartfelt. “Their only advice to me was that I never compromise on the person I am,” Jasmin recalled. However, once Aly met them, all concerns quickly disappeared, and they welcomed him warmly. Since then, both families have shared mutual respect, never letting faith or customs cast a shadow over the couple’s happiness.
Jasmin admitted that their relationship has remained untouched by religious expectations or obligations. Neither she nor Aly ever imposed their beliefs on one another. She appreciated how effortless and natural it felt to navigate these differences.
Over the years, Jasmin has often found herself compared to fellow television actress Dipika Kakar, who married Shoaib Ibrahim, her co-star from Sasural Simar Ka. However, Jasmin confessed that she rarely encounters such comparisons, and even when they arise, she chooses to stay unaffected. Her focus has always remained on her relationship and personal happiness rather than public opinions or parallels.
The conversation also touched upon another cherished bond in Jasmin’s life, her friendship with Sussanne Khan. Sussanne, Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife, has been dating Arslan Goni, Aly’s cousin. The closeness between the cousin brothers naturally extended to the women in their lives. Jasmin spoke fondly of her growing friendship with Sussanne, calling it unique and precious. “My relationship with Sussanne is beautiful because she is the most warm, humble, loving and the most positive woman I have ever met on this planet,” Jasmin said.
For Jasmin, it’s rare to meet someone so unaffected by negativity. She admires how Sussanne handles criticism or complaints, always responding with grace and optimism. Even when someone discusses an issue with her, Sussanne finds something good to say about the person involved. That positivity has drawn Jasmin even closer to her, making their bond one she treasures deeply.
