The threatening message targeted both Abhinav and Rubina for their disagreement with Asim.

The message claimed that bullets would be fired at his house too. The situation rattled fans and brought police attention to the matter.
In the middle of this storm, Abhinav gave a candid interview with actor and host Shardul Pandit. The conversation revealed a side of Abhinav that people rarely see. Shardul asked Abhinav what limits he’d set for his daughters in the future. The actor admitted, “I’m an old-school male. Males should be capable of harm. He shouldn’t do harm, but to protect his family, he should be capable of doing harm. So that is ending.”

In response, Abhinav made a bold confession. He declared, “If I have to kill a guy to save my family, I will kill him with my bare hands. I won’t think, ‘what is happening.’ I will go for it. That’s why he didn’t react to their insults. He explained that the remarks made during the show didn’t bother him. Contestants said those things because the game demanded drama and survival tactics. But he added that had those comments been made after the show, it would have impacted him differently.
Reflecting on Bigg Boss 14, Abhinav described it as a test of his patience. He admitted it wasn’t easy, but controlling his anger taught him valuable lessons. It helped him realise the importance of knowing when to act and when to stay silent.
