She remarked, “I believe in destiny, and when it’s meant to happen, I’ll talk about it then.”
Garvita went on to reveal how she sensed this development even before the official conversation with the production team. She shared that weeks before it was confirmed, she instinctively felt that Ruhi’s journey was reaching its end. She recalled the moment vividly when the creative head, Vivek sir, approached her. He started with, “I have some bad news,” and Garvita immediately guessed it, replying, “Ruhi’s track is ending.” She admitted she initially feared that the makers might kill the character, but thankfully it was just a temporary exit.
The actress confessed that she was deeply attached to Ruhi and had felt a growing intuition about the storyline change. About three or four weeks before the official update, she spoke to her close friends and family about it. Garvita even told Romit, who plays Rohit on the show, as well as her mother and sister. All of them were surprised since, at the time, there was no hint in the episodes or ongoing plot.
