In a recent chat, Elvish opened up about the criticism he faced during those initial days. He revealed that he quietly read every comment posted about his appointment on the show. Elvish said he saw people doubting him, with comments like, “Isko kaise bana diya?”, “Yeh format iske liye nahi bana”, and “Kisi aur ko le lete”. Despite the negativity, Elvish chose silence over reaction. He mentioned, “Mai tab kuch nahi bola. Abhi bhi mai kuch nahi bolunga.”
What stood out was how this criticism never weighed him down. When asked if he felt pressured stepping into this high-stakes reality show, Elvish responded without hesitation, “Koi pressure nahi.” According to him, the noise never bothered him because he trusted his ability to perform, no matter the platform.
Over time, the audience’s perception began to shift. As episodes aired, Elvish happily shared that those who questioned him were now commenting that their opinion had changed. He said, “But I’m so happy logo ka pov mere liye change ho gaya. Vahi same log comment kar rahe hai ki ‘Nahi bhai, humara pov change ho gaya.’”
For Elvish, this change meant more than just social media validation. It showed that audiences were willing to acknowledge growth when they saw it. He shared, “Toh mai bohot khush hora hu yeh sab chize dekh ke ki logo ko real side dekhne ko mil rahi hai meri. Unko mai capable lagta hu. Ab lagne laga hu ki mai aisa koi show bhi kar sakta hu. Toh agli baar in sabko mere pe bharosa hoga ki yeh kuch bhi kar sakta hai.”
His journey on Roadies XX didn’t just silence critics, it ended on a high note. Elvish’s gang member, Kushal Tanwar, fondly known as Gullu, lifted the trophy in the grand finale held on June 1, 2025. It was a proud moment for Elvish and a significant validation of his leadership.
