Currently in ICU Post-Surgery, Says Shoaib Ibrahim

Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that although the surgery was extremely long and complex, it was successful. In his Instagram story, he mentioned that Dipika is currently under observation in the ICU and is in a stable condition, though experiencing some discomfort. “It was a long and challenging surgery, but by God’s grace, she is stable now,” Shoaib said.

Fans’ Prayers Mean Everything, Says Shoaib

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude, Shoaib thanked all fans for their constant love and support. “Your prayers, love, and strength mean a lot to us. We are hopeful and taking one step at a time,” he added. He also promised to keep everyone updated once Dipika moves out of the ICU and urged fans to continue praying for her speedy recovery.

How the Diagnosis Was Made

Dipika Kakar began experiencing severe abdominal pain a few weeks ago, along with flu symptoms. Concerned, Shoaib took her to the doctor where a scan revealed a tumor in her liver the size of a tennis ball. A biopsy later confirmed the diagnosis of stage 2 liver cancer.
