Bigg Boss fans have been dealing with a lot of mixed reports this year. Some said the show might get cancelled or shift to a different channel. Others claimed Bigg Boss OTT 4 had been scrapped. All this news left the audience confused. But now, Bigg Boss 19 seems to be moving forward. The makers are reportedly going ahead with the new season, though it won’t be starting in June as rumoured earlier.

At one point, it was said this would be the longest season ever, beginning from June 30 and running till January 2026. However, with June already ending and no promos or announcements made, this plan seems unlikely. Fresh reports now suggest the show will follow its usual schedule. The season is expected to kick off in October, just like every year, and continue for three months.

Interestingly, there’s news that the makers are planning to bring back some old, popular concepts. As per a report, the secret room idea is making a comeback. This twist has always entertained the audience. Selected contestants will be moved to a hidden space where they can watch the rest of the housemates. They observe everything without anyone knowing and later make a surprising return. Fans last witnessed this in season 13, and it had created major drama in the house.

Another major update is about evictions. In the past few seasons, eliminations sometimes depended on tasks or other factors. But this year, the makers are returning to audience votes as the sole deciding factor. The public will have complete control, which fans have been demanding for a long time.

There’s also a revival of physical tasks. For the past several seasons, contestants haven’t had to physically earn their ration. Now, tasks related to food supplies will be part of the game again. The makers reportedly took this decision after noticing continuous feedback from loyal viewers. They wanted tougher conditions inside the house, and the team behind Bigg Boss has finally listened.

Celebrity names for the new season are already making rounds. Popular faces from TV and social media have reportedly been approached. Daisy Shah, who was last seen in Bigg Boss OTT, might join. Faisal Shaikh, known as Mr. Faisu, is another name under consideration. Actress Khushi Dubey, actor Vikram Singh Chauhan, and television’s Shashank Vyas have also been contacted. Reports suggest that Ram Kapoor and Tanushree Dutta are on the list as well. While nothing has been officially confirmed, this potential mix of contestants could be exciting for the audience.

Actor Karan Veer Mehra lifted the winner’s trophy while Vivian Dsena ended as the runner-up in the recently concluded Bigg Boss 18.

With these promising changes and familiar thrills making a comeback, Bigg Boss 19 might just win back its old glory.
