Ayesha Khan has been savoring a wonderful phase in her career. The actress, known for her charm and talent, has been actively taking on new projects and building an impressive body of work. Recently, she appeared in the much-talked-about film Jaat, starring Sunny Deol. The film not only grabbed attention for its action-packed storyline but also earned praise from audiences. It marked a special chapter for Ayesha, who got the opportunity to share screen space with one of Bollywood’s most respected stars.
In a recent conversation, Ayesha opened up about why she chose to be a part of Jaat. For her, the decision was simple. “My sole reason for saying ‘yes’ to this film was that I would get to work with Sunny Sir. I was really looking forward to it,” she shared.
Speaking about Sunny, Ayesha said there’s often an image associated with him due to his intense on-screen roles. Many might believe he carries that same strict persona off-camera, but Ayesha painted a completely different picture. Calling him “so humble, grounded, very sweet, too much fun and hardworking,” she expressed her admiration for the actor’s nature and attitude.
She recalled how, towards the end of filming, schedules got hectic, especially as it was a film loaded with action sequences. Scenes were added, and the long hours took a toll on everyone. Despite the exhaustion, Sunny Deol remained dedicated and didn’t once express unwillingness to continue. Ayesha remembered those moments fondly and spoke of his resilience, highlighting how he motivated others by example. “We used to get tired at times and think that we won’t be able to shoot, but he never complained about not doing,” she reflected.
One particular incident from the sets left a lasting impact on her. Ayesha revealed a valuable life lesson she received from Sunny during a tough moment. An accident occurred while performing stunts, and amidst the chaos, Sunny shared wisdom that Ayesha now holds dear. He told her, “Life mai kabhi bichara nahi bana. Kuch bhi ho jaye. Koi bhi situation ho.”
Apart from professional experiences, Ayesha also shared details about her personal life and views on relationships. The Bigg Boss 17 fame spoke about the kind of partner she hopes to find in the future. While marriage isn’t something she’s rushing towards, she remains open to the idea when the right time comes.
She elaborated on the qualities she desires in a partner, drawing inspiration from the men in her family. She shared, “In our house, I have never seen the difference between men and women. That idea was never there.” Because of this, she hopes to find someone from a similar background, someone kind, family-oriented, and with a good sense of humor. Laughter, she believes, is essential in life and relationships. “I need someone who can make me laugh,” she added.
On the work front, Ayesha continues to stay busy. She’s currently seen as the female lead in Dil Ko Rafuu Kar Lei, opposite Karan V Grover. The project adds another milestone to her growing filmography as she balances both personal aspirations and professional ambitions with grace.
