Ashi Singh is ready to grace television screens once again after a year-long break. The actress, who built a steady fan base with shows like Aladdin, Meet, and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, will soon be seen in Uff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil. She’s paired opposite actor Shabir Ahluwalia in this upcoming romantic drama. For Ashi, this isn’t just another project. It marks a new chapter, and she’s genuinely excited about what lies ahead.

Reflecting on her break from TV, Ashi shared that her last show aired in 2023. It’s been a little over a year since then. She revealed she had worked on a web series in the meantime, but it hasn’t been released yet. When this fresh offer came her way, it felt like the right project at the right time. Ashi admitted that this role is unlike anything she’s done on television before. That’s exactly what made it appealing.

She acknowledged how tricky it can be to land parts one truly desires in the world of television. According to her, she’s been fortunate to receive interesting roles so far. However, she pointed out that much of the content still heavily relies on stereotypes. Showmakers tend to stick with familiar formulas because audiences continue to enjoy them. It’s a cycle that’s tough to break.

While sharing her thoughts on the acting profession, Ashi spoke honestly about the struggles that come after an initial break. In her words, “The first break is hard, but once you’re part of the industry, staying relevant or moving forward is even harder.” She feels that in the beginning, actors arrive like blank slates. No one expects anything from them. But once they’ve proven themselves, expectations multiply.

The past year, she admitted, came with its fair share of frustration. Waiting for the right opportunity wasn’t easy. Ashi described herself as a positive person, and it was this optimistic attitude that helped her stay calm during uncertain times. She said that she strongly believes if something doesn’t work out, it simply wasn’t meant for her. That belief kept her grounded through the long wait.

When Uff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil came her way, everything finally made sense. The long pause had a purpose. She realised then that patience truly pays off when something worthwhile appears. The excitement of being part of a show that breaks away from the usual patterns made it all the more rewarding.

Ashi also opened up about her early start in the industry. She began acting at 17, a decision that meant giving up a traditional college life. Yet, she has no complaints about the choices she made. She studied in Mumbai and opted for distance learning after completing her 12th grade. Though she missed campus life, she stayed connected with her school friends. She happily shared that they still hang out, split bills, and maintain the carefree spirit of college days.

As Uff… Yeh Love Hai Mushkil prepares to hit the small screen, Ashi Singh steps into a new role, carrying with her the lessons of patience, belief, and resilience. She’s ready to embrace whatever comes next, with the same sincerity that first won over her fans.
