Manish Goel’s recent entry into the popular TV show Anupamaa stirred both excitement and speculation among viewers. Known for his sharp screen presence, Manish stepped into the role of Raghav, a man whose life took a dark turn after being falsely accused and imprisoned. The character is now on a path of redemption, and Anupamaa has become a guiding light in his journey. Raghav currently works at Anu Ki Rasoi, a kitchen that stands for second chances, and through this, he has been trying to rebuild his lost life.

The actor’s appearance on the show quickly made him a household name once again. Fans were intrigued by his character’s mysterious past and hopeful future. However, as his popularity grew, so did whispers of trouble behind the scenes. Speculations began making rounds that Manish might soon be leaving Anupamaa. Adding fuel to the fire, a rumour suggested a fallout between him and lead actress Rupali Ganguly.

A source close to the production claimed that tensions between the two actors had escalated, prompting Manish to consider an early exit. This news spread quickly, surprising fans who were just warming up to Raghav’s presence in the show. But before these assumptions could gain ground, Manish himself stepped in to clear the air.

Dismissing the gossip, Manish labelled the entire controversy baseless. Addressing the matter directly, he explained, “Matlab quitting tak toh theek tha, lekin ye differences wala toh absolutely galat hai.” His words reflected a mix of disbelief and frustration over how quickly baseless stories can spread.

The actor went on to say that his bond with Rupali is far from new. He reminded everyone that their association goes way back to the time he arrived in Mumbai. “Rupali aur meri pehchaan aaj ki nahi hai,” he pointed out, sharing that Anupamaa marked their fourth collaboration. Manish further remarked that usually rumours hold some element of truth, but in this case, there was neither spark nor fire.

He seemed genuinely puzzled by the origin of such reports, admitting that it made no sense why people would create such stories out of nowhere. “I do not know why do people spread such things. This is false,” he affirmed, putting an end to the gossip.

Speaking about his role in the show, Manish clarified that he was brought on board for a limited arc. His character Raghav was always meant to be a cameo, lasting about three to four months. He mentioned that beyond that, no one had discussed any extension or change in storyline with him. At present, there’s also no official word about a time leap or any drastic shift in the show’s plot.
