Ajaz Khan, a name often linked with controversy, has once again found himself in serious legal trouble. The actor, known for his stint on Bigg Boss 7, has been accused of rape by a 30-year-old woman, leading to a fresh police case against him. The complaint was filed on Sunday, May 4, at Charkop police station in Mumbai.
According to the complainant, Ajaz allegedly exploited her trust by promising marriage and a chance to break into the entertainment industry. She claimed he assured her of a role in his OTT show House Arrest and offered to help her land other projects. The woman alleged that these false promises were used as a pretext to sexually assault her.
As per her statement, the assault first took place on March 25, 2025, at her residence. She said he visited her home, continued to mislead her with assurances of marriage, and forced himself on her. The ordeal reportedly didn’t end there. The woman alleged that Ajaz assaulted her multiple times in the following days, continuing to manipulate her emotions and future aspirations.
The case has been registered under several sections of the newly implemented Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including sections 64, 64(2)(M), 69, and 74. The authorities confirmed that investigations are underway. Statements from both the complainant and the accused are being recorded, while evidence is being collected to support the claims.
This isn’t the first time Ajaz Khan has found himself entangled in controversy. The actor, who has had a turbulent public image, was earlier booked for his involvement in the web series House Arrest, streamed on the Ullu app. The show faced backlash after explicit scenes and objectionable video clips went viral on social media. In those clips, Ajaz was seen pressuring contestants, including women, into performing intimate scenes on camera. He was also heard asking vulgar and uncomfortable questions, further adding to the controversy.
The current allegations have resurfaced memories of his troubled past. In 2021, Ajaz made headlines when he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He was caught in possession of 31 alprazolam tablets weighing 4.5 grams. The case resulted in his imprisonment for 26 months, further tainting his public image.
This fresh controversy surrounding Ajaz Khan not only revives his troubled past but also highlights recurring issues in the entertainment world. As the investigation continues, both the industry and the public await clarity and justice in a matter that has once again raised concerns about exploitation behind the glamorous façade of showbiz.
