Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary’s troubled marriage ended more than a decade ago. The separation came after serious allegations from Shweta’s side, where she accused him of domestic violence and alcoholism. At the time, she spoke openly about creating a safe home for herself and their daughter, Palak Tiwari. Since then, both moved on in different directions. But years later, the past has resurfaced through Raja’s words.

In a recent interview, Raja chose to share his version of events. He admitted to having been an alcoholic but claimed to have left that part of his life behind. According to him, he has been sober for two years. Despite acknowledging his mistakes, Raja believes he was denied a chance to talk things out. He expressed his pain, saying, “Resolving an issue or not is secondary, what is important is that, as humans, we need to have at least one conversation about the issue.” He felt that Shweta never allowed such a conversation to happen. Instead, she chose to cut him off from their daughter completely.

Raja spoke about how the divorce changed his life entirely. He said it drained him financially and ruined his public image. The actor compared his situation to a crash, saying, “It was like I died in a plane crash while she survived.” He shared that Shweta allegedly ensured no one rented him a house and fought him over property. A flat, once bought by his parents, had to be claimed through court orders. If it were left to Shweta, he claimed he would not have received a penny.

One of the most hurtful aspects for Raja was the relationship with Palak. He accused Shweta of keeping Palak away from him for years, even after their separation. Raja alleged that the divorce came with a condition. He said, “She divorced me on a condition that I never meet my daughter.” After fighting legally for nearly a decade, he finally gave up. The repeated disappointments led him to a breaking point. In his words, “I was like, ‘Beti bhi na mil, tu bhi na mil.’ In all this process, a father dies.” His grief was evident as he described how fatherhood felt stripped away from him.

Raja revealed how the consequences extended beyond him. He claimed that Shweta disconnected Palak from his entire family too. The child, who once grew up in their home, adored by grandparents and relatives, was separated from them. Raja believed his entire family suffered because of this. According to him, no one from his side was allowed to meet her, and it created wounds no one could heal.

Even today, Raja’s bond with Palak remains distant. He admitted they occasionally exchange messages on social media, but those interactions are limited. He shared, “I keep writing her letters every now and then sharing my life updates with her. However, she is busy building her career, so she barely makes any time for me.” Though communication exists, it lacks warmth and regularity.

Raja also addressed past accusations where Shweta spoke of making sacrifices for Palak. He dismissed them as lies, claiming he was the one who planned their daughter’s future while they were still married. He went as far as to say, “Shweta is an illiterate, how would she even know what our kid should study. Now, these things are planned by Google: Baap ki kisko zarurat hai?”

The wounds from this broken relationship continue to surface. While Shweta and Palak have rarely spoken about Raja in recent years, his words paint a picture of bitterness, regret, and longing.
