Indian cricketer Virat Kohli broke millions of hearts recently when he officially announced his retirement from Test cricket. The emotional moment was met with a touching tribute from his wife, Anushka Sharma, who shared a heartfelt message for him on social media.

A day after his announcement, on May 13, 2025, the celebrity couple was spotted in Vrindavan, where they paid a spiritual visit to Premanand Maharaj Ji — a guru they have followed closely over the years.

What Did Anushka Ask the Guru?

A recent video from the Bhajan Marg YouTube channel, which has since gone viral, captured the couple in a spiritual discussion at the ashram. While the video was edited to keep Anushka’s question private, it shows Premanand Maharaj asking Virat, “Now are you happy?”—prompting a laugh from the cricketer.

The guru then advised the couple to let go of inner worries, live socially, and stop chasing money, urging them instead to chant Radha Rani’s name with devotion.

When Anushka asked, “Will chanting really help?” Maharaj responded with conviction, saying, “Yes, it definitely will.”

Hours at the Ashram

According to ashram sources, Virat and Anushka arrived early at 6:00 AM and stayed until 9:30 AM, spending over three hours in peaceful spiritual engagement. Interestingly, this time the couple visited without their children, preferring privacy during this soul-soothing moment.

The duo’s growing spiritual inclination is no secret. Over the past few years, they’ve frequently been seen visiting temples and ashrams instead of glamorous parties or celebrity events.

Their latest visit reinforces the idea that both stars are now seeking inner peace and a more meaningful life beyond fame and success.
