Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has officially confirmed that she and co-star Sandra Bullock are teaming up again for Practical Magic 2, the much-anticipated sequel to their 1998 cult classic.
In a recent update shared with People magazine, Kidman teased fans with an exciting statement: “It’s happening. Sandra and I have both committed. We’re producing it together, and it’s going to be fun and witchy!”
The original Practical Magic film followed the story of two sisters, Sally and Gillian Owens, who come from a long line of witches. Despite its mixed reviews at the time of release, the film has grown into a beloved favorite, especially around Halloween.
Nicole Kidman expressed her excitement about returning to the magical world and working alongside Sandra Bullock again. “I think we found a way to make it work,” she said. “There’s a lot of heart in this story, and fans have waited long enough.”
While the full plot of Practical Magic 2 is still under wraps, fans can expect more enchanting spells, sisterhood, and possibly a new generation of Owens witches.
The sequel is currently in development, with both Kidman and Bullock attached as producers as well as lead actresses. Warner Bros. is backing the project, though a release date has yet to be announced.
Fans of the original are already buzzing with excitement, making this reunion one of the most anticipated Hollywood sequels of the year.
