India’s firm response to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack has sparked chaos across the border. As the country launched Operation Sindoor, a successful counter-strike, emotions have run high—especially after India announced a ban on all Pakistani artists and TV shows. In the middle of the controversy, popular Pakistani actress Nadia Khan has strongly condemned her own country’s celebrities for their silence and inaction.

Nadia Khan Slams Pakistani Stars

Taking a bold stand, Nadia Khan did not hold back. Speaking about the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack, she said, “You people are shameless.” Her statement was directed at fellow Pakistani celebrities who neither spoke against the terror attack nor offered any condolences.

This is not the first time Nadia has raised her voice. Earlier, she also expressed her views on India’s ban on Pakistani content and artists. But this time, her anger was directed more at the hypocrisy and silence of her own entertainment community.

“They Are Banned Because of You” – Nadia

The actress further stated that due to the terror incident and the lack of public condemnation by Pakistani stars, India had no choice but to ban Pakistani dramas. “They had to do it. Our dramas give them pain because of what’s happening on the ground,” she added, clearly frustrated by the diplomatic and cultural fallout.

What Happened in Pahalgam?

Around 13 days ago, a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam claimed the lives of 28 innocent civilians, triggering nationwide anger in India. The Indian government responded swiftly and decisively with Operation Sindoor, avenging the deaths and sending a strong message to those responsible.

Rising Tension Between India and Pakistan

As the two nations face off once again over acts of terrorism, cultural exchanges and cross-border collaborations have come to a screeching halt. While Indian audiences may no longer see Pakistani artists on screen, voices like Nadia Khan’s signal deep divisions even within Pakistan about how such issues should be addressed.
