A legal complaint has been filed against Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua,” actress Amrapali Dubey, SDM Tushar Kumar, and mall owners Vivek and Vikas Agrawal at the CJM Court in Muzaffarpur. The court has scheduled the hearing for October 18, 2025.
The case stems from an event held on October 4 at a shopping mall in Kalam Bagh Chowk, Muzaffarpur, where Nirahua and Amrapali Dubey were invited as chief guests for the inauguration. A massive crowd gathered to see the stars, resulting in severe traffic congestion throughout the city. Hundreds of vehicles were stuck in the jam, and an ambulance carrying a patient also faced delays, creating serious safety concerns.
Lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha, representing the complainant, stated that the petition has been filed under Sections 223, 89/7, 6, 191/1, 190, 61/1280, and 272 of the Indian Penal Code. He added that similar incidents in Tamil Nadu, where large crowds gathered to see the actor, had resulted in multiple injuries and fatalities. The petition raises serious concerns about the local authorities granting permission for such high-risk events.
