When asked about the political speculations during an event in Jabalpur, Maithili Thakur said, “Yes, I met with Vinod Tawde and Nityanand Rai. We discussed the situation in Bihar at length. However, there has been no official announcement yet regarding my candidature. Let’s see what happens.”

Maithili Thakur hails from Darbhanga, Bihar, and has earned both national and international recognition for her contributions to folk music. She gained fame in 2011 through the reality show Little Champs, and over the years, has become a celebrated singer. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised her talent, and she has also been honored with the Cultural Ambassador Award for her contribution to music.
