Kannappa Movie Hard Disk Goes Missing: The much-anticipated Telugu film Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, is all set for release soon, but a major setback has come to light. A hard disk containing critical footage, including a key action sequence with visual effects, has reportedly gone missing. The production house behind the film, 24 Frames Factory, officially confirmed the theft and revealed that a cybercrime complaint has been lodged at the Karimnagar Police Station.

According to sources, the hard disk was supposed to be transported from Mumbai’s Hive Studios to the production office in Hyderabad. The disk was signed for and collected by a person named Raghu on behalf of a woman named Charitha. However, investigations have revealed that neither Raghu nor Charitha is officially connected to 24 Frames Factory. The production team suspects that both individuals stole the hard disk deliberately to cause harm to the film’s prospects.

The complaint, filed approximately four weeks ago, has prompted police authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly. Officials have reportedly identified persons involved but have not made this information public yet. The production team also shared intelligence suggesting that the culprits might be planning to leak 90 minutes of exclusive footage online to sabotage the movie’s success.

In response to this serious threat, 24 Frames Factory’s executive producer has taken the matter to cybercrime authorities. The producers condemned such malicious attempts to damage a film’s reputation and business, emphasizing that this is not a case of petty mischief but a well-planned attack targeting a multi-crore project.

The statement from the production house also urged the public and media not to support or entertain any pirated content, should it surface online. They remain confident that justice will prevail and reiterated their commitment to protecting the film and the Telugu cinema industry from such harmful activities.

This incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by the film industry with piracy and sabotage attempts. The Kannappa team remains undeterred and hopeful for a successful release, trusting that the truth will come to light.
