Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was discharged from Criticare Hospital in Juhu on Friday, three days after a bizarre accident involving his revolver led to a leg injury. The 60-year-old actor, best known for iconic films like Love 86, Swarg, Dulhe Raja, and Partner, addressed the incident with a lighthearted comment, saying, “Voh giri aur chal padi” (It fell and went off), much to the amusement of his fans and media personnel gathered outside the hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when Govinda was preparing to leave for the airport. In a freak accident, his revolver slipped and fired, injuring his leg. The actor was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery the same day to treat the injury.
On Friday, Govinda was seen leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, his left leg in a cast. Despite the injury, he appeared in good spirits, flashing smiles and waving to the crowd of fans and reporters who had gathered to wish him well.
