Ajaz Khan in Legal Trouble Again: Actor Ajaz Khan, already under scrutiny for his controversial web show House Arrest, is now facing even more serious allegations. A 30-year-old actress has filed a rape complaint against him at the Charkop Police Station in Mumbai, claiming he assaulted her after promising a role and marriage.
According to the actress, Ajaz initially approached her with the offer of hosting the show House Arrest, streamed on the Ullu app. During the shoot, he allegedly proposed to her and assured her of marriage, even going as far as saying he would convert his religion. However, she claims that he later forced himself on her against her will.
FIR Filed Under Serious IPC Sections
The Charkop police have registered an FIR against Ajaz Khan under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64, 64(2M), 69, and 74, all related to sexual assault and rape. The investigation is currently ongoing.
Ongoing Controversy Around House Arrest
Ajaz Khan has been surrounded by controversy ever since clips from House Arrest surfaced online. In the leaked videos, Ajaz was allegedly seen asking female contestants to undress and pose intimately with male participants on camera. This led to public outrage and legal action.
Following the uproar, the National Commission for Women (NCW) sent notices to both Ajaz Khan and Ullu App CEO Vibhu Agarwal, summoning them to appear on May 9. Subsequently, all episodes of House Arrest were pulled from the platform.
