Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s horror-romantic comedy Thamma is all set to light up the box office this Diwali. The final day 1 advance booking numbers have dropped — and they’re roaring loud! The film has emerged as a surprise performer, giving a neck-to-neck fight to Raid 2 in pre-sales, and surpassing the much-hyped Baaghi 4.
Record-Breaking Surge in Advance Bookings
According to Sacnilk, Thamma registered a final advance booking of ₹6.37 crore gross, excluding blocked seats. What’s more shocking? A massive 98% growth in just 24 hours! Over 2.25 lakh tickets have already been sold across India, including Hindi and Telugu versions.
Maharashtra led the charge with ₹2.24 crore worth of ticket sales, followed by strong numbers from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. The trend clearly signals a festive bonanza, as the movie eyes a ₹20 crore+ opening day.
Thamma vs Top Bollywood Pre-Sales of 2025
Despite its outstanding numbers, Thamma narrowly missed entering the Top 5 Bollywood pre-sales list of 2025. It managed to surpass Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force (₹3.84 cr) and Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 (₹5.54 cr) but fell just short of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 (₹6.52 cr).

- Sikandar – ₹10.09 crore
- Saiyaara – ₹9.40 crore

Maddock Films Hits Another Milestone
