Riding high on the massive success of Kantara: Chapter 1, actor-director Rishab Shetty made a spiritual visit to Bihar’s Mundeshwari Temple, believed to be the oldest functional temple in the world. The Kannada superstar offered prayers and performed rituals as a mark of gratitude for the film’s monumental success.

Videos that surfaced online show Shetty dressed in a simple white shirt and veshti, performing aarti and abhishek rituals led by temple priests. He was also seen meditating quietly near the sanctum of Goddess Mundeshwari, located in Bihar’s Kaimur district, approximately 200 km from Patna.

“It was a deeply spiritual experience,” Shetty shared, adding that the visit filled him with peace and reverence for the temple’s ancient legacy.
