Paresh Rawal Reveals the Real Reason: Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has finally opened up about his much-discussed departure from the third installment of the cult comedy franchise Hera Pheri. His sudden exit shocked fans and even stirred legal controversy involving co-star Akshay Kumar. Taking to social media, the 69-year-old actor clarified that the move was not abrupt but a conscious, calculated decision.
“I Didn’t Leave Suddenly,” Says Paresh Rawal
On Sunday, Paresh Rawal took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to address the issue. “My legal representative Ameet Naik has sent a formal response regarding my exit and dismissal. Once the concerned parties review it, all issues will be resolved,” he wrote.
This statement came after Akshay Kumar reportedly filed a legal notice against the actor following his withdrawal from the film. Fans were left confused and concerned about what really went down behind the scenes.
Legal Team Cites Lack of Script & Agreement
Speaking to IANS, Paresh Rawal’s legal team shared the reason behind the exit. They claimed that the producers failed to share a proper script, screenplay, or agreement draft, which was essential for Rawal to commit. The team also clarified that his decision had nothing to do with director Priyadarshan, whom he still holds in high regard.
Rawal emphasized, “I did not quit out of impulse. This was a thoughtful decision, made after due consideration.”
No Creative Differences, Says Actor
Earlier speculation suggested that Rawal left due to creative differences with the filmmakers. Putting those rumors to rest, Rawal tweeted, “I want to go on record to clarify that I left Hera Pheri 3 not due to any creative differences. I continue to hold deep love and respect for Priyadarshan.”
I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.
