In a surprising revelation, model-turned-actor Muzammil Ibrahim has claimed that he was in a romantic relationship with Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone for two years before they eventually parted ways. The Special Ops actor made the statement during a recent interview, drawing renewed attention to Deepika’s past relationships before she rose to stardom.
Muzammil, who is known for his roles in action thrillers and fashion campaigns, said the relationship was private and mutually respectful. According to him, both he and Deepika were “deeply committed” but ultimately had to break up due to personal differences.
The actor said he had received several offers to go public about their relationship in the past, but he declined out of respect for her. “I was offered media deals to speak up when she was at her peak, but I refused. I don’t use personal relationships for publicity,” Muzammil clarified.
Deepika Padukone, now one of the most celebrated actresses in India, has not yet commented on the claim.
