The promotion has drawn mixed reactions online, with many mocking the move. Adding fuel to the fire, Adnan Sami, a former Pakistani national, joined the chorus with a savage satire posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“Leader of Donkeys” – Adnan Sami’s Satirical Take

In a hilarious and biting post, Adnan Sami shared a video indirectly mocking General Asim Munir. Without taking his name, Sami sarcastically referred to him as the “king of donkeys.” Alongside the video, he wrote:
“Acceptance speech to the Pakistan government after General Asim Munir is made Field Marshal.”

The video features a man delivering a mock speech, saying:
“My friends, my brothers, I’m grateful you’ve chosen me as the head of your group. I promise to protect the rights of all donkeys, animals, and even those humans who live worse lives than animals. Have you ever realized, my crazy friends, how clever humans are? They even make us their fathers when needed!”

The video, laced with sarcasm and humor, quickly went viral, leaving netizens in splits and sparking another wave of trolling against the Pakistan Army chief.

Adnan Sami’s Long History of Criticizing Pakistan

Adnan Sami, who was born in the UK to a Pakistani father and an Indian mother, moved to India in 2001. After living on a visa for over a decade, he gave up his dual citizenship (Pakistan and Canada) and officially became an Indian citizen in 2016.

Since then, Sami has never hesitated to voice his criticism of Pakistan’s political and military leadership. Whether it’s during terrorist attacks like the Pahalgam incident or military developments, Sami often takes to social media with bold remarks.

He has previously stated that his experience with Pakistan wasn’t particularly positive and has distanced himself from the country’s ideologies and policies. His latest post continues this trend, with fans applauding his fearless expression.
